Liz's surprise 50th went off like a 5 pound canon. A good night was had by all her friends and relatives and it was good to finally arrive at the time when the secret, which had been in the planning for the past 2 months, could be revealed. Of course many of those invited could not come along and in particular Liz was disappointed that her partner in crime, my sister Wendy, could not be with us. Wendy and husband Nick are on a round Australia tour (The Princess Tour) and have been away for 2 months.

Unbelieveably, Wendy and Nick had another surprise for Liz and this was revealed at the party in a DVD movie we made just before they left. As it was to difficult for them to travel back down to Sydney and leave their caravan, they generously decided to give Liz and I return flight tickets to meet with them in Cairns on the 5th May!
So, on Thursday 5th May at 3:30pm we boarded the VirginBlue flight to Cairns for a 5 day adventure with Wendy and Nick.
